In this lesson, you’ll be introduced to the concept of a home entertainment PC.

In this course, we’ll explain how you can turn your PC and wireless network into a digital entertainment hub for your home. For many people, this will mean building or buying a PC that’s equipped to handle the demands of storing and playing media files (e.g., music, video, and photo/image files). For others, it may be setting up a TiVo with their cable box. Still others just want the ability to stream MP3 files from their PCs to their home stereo speakers.This class will also cover what hardware and software a Media PC requires in order to record television shows, and how to stream music from your PC to your home stereo in the living room.
